Activities
Terry Lobato, manager of the Fisher’s Peak Soup Kitchen, poses with the Superintendents’ Advisory Council. She came to meet and thank the students for their donations collected during their Thanksgiving food drive.
Fisher’s Peak Elementary partners with community organizations to provide important activities for our students within and outside of the school setting. The City Recreational Department provides extra-curricular activities for our students such as basketball and volleyball participation. Our local Fire Department provides education and training regarding fire safety. Our school offers students other opportunities to explore their interests with activities such as checkers club, choir, and the after school exercise program.
Students can also participate in leadership opportunities by joining the Superintendents’ Advisory Council. The council meets once a month with the superintendent and allows students the chance to express their opinions about their school. Students elect officers that lead the council and help generate ideas for school and district activities. Students are welcome to attend council meetings anytime throughout the year.
