Trinidad School District focuses on student mastery of the Colorado State Standards for each subject area. Our goal is to ensure that all students learn and can demonstrate proficiency in the content standards and associated benchmark concepts and skills.

Continuously Raising the Bar:
Currriculum Revision and Refinement

Curriculum revision and refinement is now available for the Langauge Arts track for all grade levels.

We are in the process of writing or revising the curriculum in each content area that is aligned to the content standards. Our curriculum update began in the spring of 2008 with a major revision of math.

This new curriculum along with many new math materials was implemented in the fall of 2008. The district's initiative to develop standard’s based curricula has moved to the area of language arts and science.
