General Information:
Trinidad High School Library contains around 12,500 Fiction/Non-fiction books, a computer lab, and lends a variety of audio visual and technology equipment to students and teachers. The purpose of the library is to provide quality instruction, materials, and professional development to assist students and teachers to become responsible users of information and netiquette safe travelers on the information highway, as well as to support District, State, and classroom curriculum.

Services:
Ms. Watson is available to assist with:

  • Class Assignments
  • Technology instruction for school assignments
  • Requesting materials – books, videos, articles, equipment from other libraries and B.O.C.E.S.
  • Reserving materials, meeting room, and/mezzanine for class instruction
  • Reserving the library computer end
  • Reference Questions
  • Book Advisory
  • Research and assistance with setting up Web 2.0 classrooms

Library Rules:

  • Computers have issues with food and drink, thus keep food and drinks away.
  • Maintain a quiet, distraction free demeanor – respect everyone's learning space.
  • Respect computers, books, other people and their choices.
  • Clean your working area – you may be the next person to work there.
  • Check all books, magazines, newspapers, and equipment out before removing them from the library.
  • Please do not interrupt study hall students – your cooperation is appreciated.
  • Use the card catalog, be an ethical user of information, and read.
  • Ask Ms. Watson a question – if she doesn't know, then she'll be happy to help you find the answer.
  • Remember to share a good book.
