Trinidad Middle School encourages parents to be involved in their child’s education.
Parents are encouraged to sign-up to volunteer in classrooms. At the beginning of the year, parents are invited to attend "Back to School Night", where they can meet the teachers and learn about school policies and procedures. In the spring, parents and students are invited to participate in Literacy night. This event offers a variety of hands-on activities for parents and children to work on together.
At the end of the first and third quarters, Parent Teacher Conferences are held. Parents are also encouraged to keep up on their child’s progress by accessing grades on line through Power School.
Our media center’s computer lab is open to parents each school day from 9:00 -11:00. Each month, the Parent Pride Organization meets with Mrs. Dunford to discuss and work on ways of improving our school.
