Dear Fisher's Peak Parents and Guardians,
This morning, the staff detected a strong odor of gas in the school building. In accordance with our safety protocols, we immediately evacuated all staff, and did not allow students to enter the building. We contacted the appropriate emergency services.
Out of an abundance of caution, and upon the recommendation of first responders, we have decided to cancel school for the remainder of the day while the source of the odor is investigated and addressed.
All students have been safely released to parents/guardians. Please rest assured that everyone is safe, and no injuries have been reported.
We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available, including when it is safe to return to normal operations. Your child’s safety is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this precautionary measure.
